The children Ministry currently offers the following programs.
Children Choir
The purpose of the
choir is to give an opportunity for our children to serve God. The
rehearsal is held from 2:45 to 3:10 pm. every
Sunday. We welcome children who are 7 years or older and are committed to
attend each rehearsal. The musical
director is our sister He Jing.
Youth Fellowship
It will be held at Hope Church every Friday from 8:15 to
9:45 pm starting November 13, 2009.
Children who are attending grade 3 and up are welcome to join. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide a
fun environment for our children to understand the basic doctrine of Christianity
via Bible and sharing. We will also
reserve time for children to sing and play games.
Sunday School
The theme of this year is "Following the Faith". The children will see God's Kingdom by reviewing the history of His plan from many God chosen people in both Old and New Testament. Those who obeyed Him and followed Him were blessed and were used by Him greatly. Our children will be challenged in the following areas:
- Are they following the faith?
- Are they willing to give their talents to God?
- Are they willing to be used by God?
- Do they know what God wants them to do?
We are your partners as you disciple your child spiritually. Extend your child’s learning by asking him or her about the lessons, reinforcing the disciple skill being taught, reviewing the memory verse together, and reading the Bible passages weekly with your child. Please contact me for ways you can assist in class and at home. Our class welcomes your involvement in praying for us, praising your child for his or her accomplishments, and volunteering to help.
